"Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Mat 24:45 and Luk 12:42
Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me." But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Mark 10:21-22, Mat 19:21-22 and Luk 18:22-23.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Mat 19:23-24
"No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." Luk 16:13 and also in Mat 6:24
Do you truly believe that God provides everything for you? If God said "Give all that you have and I will provide everything for you". Can you do it? If God said "If I give you a new house, are you willing to give it away?" My point is... Is your trust truly on God or still on your money? If you find it hard to give, you haven't known Him yet. If you truly know Him, you can give away anything... even your own life (Mat 16:25). Then you are the faithful and wise servant. Hear Him!
