Christ and the church

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. (Eph 5:22-24)

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. (Eph 5:25-29)

This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church (Eph 5:32) as to Husband and wife. Hear Him!

The kingdom within

Jesus said: "What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade." (Mark 4:30-32)

You know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (Jas 1:3-4) so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. (Eph 4:12-15) We are His fullness in Christ who is the head over every power and authority. (Col 2:10) Hear Him!

Grace has set you free

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. (Col 2:16-17)

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. (1Ti 4:1-5)

Do not fall into the straps of the demons with their religious doctrines but be set free by the Grace of God from the do and don't of this world. Have faith in Grace for it is written if you should drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt you. (Mark 16:18) Hear Him!

His fullness in you

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." (John 14:12)

Apostle Paul: For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:14-21)

This is indeed one of the greatest fulfillment prayer for us (the believers, the church) to attain in our most and highest potential in Christ (the fullness of God). By knowing His love, His perfect love for us. The deeper we see His love, the higher we transform, the greater works we do... till His fullness is accomplished in us! Hear Him!

The mystery of Christ

"The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins," declares the LORD. (Isa 59:20)

Apostle Paul: In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. (Eph 3:4-6) I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved... (Rom 11:25-26) God is still God of Israel and Jesus is coming back to them at Zion. Love Israel! Hear Him!

Co-heir with Christ

Remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (Eph 2:11-12)

God said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob... " (Exo 3:15) God was the God of Israel and His covenants of promise were meant for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his seed whom by nature birth were Jews. Gentiles were without hope.

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both (the Jews and the Gentiles) into one (the Church), and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. (Eph 2:13-16) In Christ we are made co-heirs with Him and so heirs of Abraham to enjoy the covenants of promise. Blessed be our Father for Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! Truly without Him we have no life. Hear Him!

The true Sabbath

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between Me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy. Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from his people." (Exo 31:12-14)

The Old is the New hidden... Let it be revealed: The Lord said "you must observe my Sabbaths" (you must believe in My Son, Jesus Christ). This will be a sign (the cross of the crucifixion) between Me and you for the generations to come (we are the generations), so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy (inputted His righteousness to you). Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you (Christ is holy). Anyone who desecrates (does not believe) it must be put to death (condemned); whoever does any work (trusting his own righteousness) on that day must be cut off from his people." The Sabbath is a shadow of thing to come, but the substance is in Christ. (Col 2:17)

Christ is the true Sabbath, the promised land, the finished work, the completed rest, the seventh day, the last one thousand years of heaven on earth. And there is only one way to get there... solely by Grace (His Son Jesus Christ) through faith (whoever believes), not that of yourselves (self righteousness); it is the gift of God (His love), not of works (by the law), lest anyone should boast.(Eph 2:8-9) Hear Him!

His craftsmanship

Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I have chosen Bezaleel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts—to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship. (Exo 31:1-5)

The Old Testament is New Testament hidden... Jesus is revealed! God has chosen Bezaleel (His shadow) son of Uri (His light), the son of Hur (His liberty), of the tribe of Judah (genealogy of Jesus, also indicates praises of the Lord) and filled Him with the Holy Spirit, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts and make beautiful design in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship (that's us - the body of Christ) for His tabernacle, the ark, the mercy seat and the furniture (that's our body - the temple of God).

Another word... God has chosen Jesus as the light of the world to set free His people to become the body of Christ of all kinds of craftsmanship for the temple of God for His purpose. For we are His craftsmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph 2:10) You are His craftsmanship, beautifully designed and perfectly finished piece of art that is absolutely precious and great value to Him. Hear Him!

Exceeding riches of His Grace

Your Past: And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. (Eph 2:1-3)

Your Now: But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (Eph 2:4-7)

Simplified: You and I, who were all dead in trespasses and sins, once walked in the lusts of our flesh. But God who loved us made us alive together with Christ and show us the exceeding riches of His Grace.

Question: What is the exceeding riches of His Grace? Answer: His Grace is Jesus Christ. And Christ has made a divine exchange with us on the cross. He took our sins and gave us His Righteousness, He took our suffering and gave us His peace, He took our poverty and gave us His prosperity... Therefore In Christ we are made complete "as He is so are we in this world". Are you not comprehend? Are you not excited? If not, you ain't got it yet. Hear Him!

Do you see Grace?

1. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (Mat 6:30)

2. When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!" (Mat 8:10)

3. Jesus said: "According to your faith be it unto you." (Mat 9:29)

4. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Eph 2:8-9)

5. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. (Rom 12:3)

From the above Scriptures 1 & 2 - we see that faith level varies from person to person. 3 & 4 - faith is needed for Grace to respond and it determines the how much one will receive. And 5 - faith is given by God and not of ourselves. Grace is a gift from God, so is faith. Salvation is Grace given to all but one must believes in faith to receive. The same goes for our prayers... But sometimes it is hard to believe. We prayed and our prayers don't get answered and we wait and waited... yet we don't see it coming, we still feel the pain, we are still broke... it just seem too hard. Soon our patience run out, we get disappointed, frustrated and even angry with God, we condemned ourselves. Then we ask... God, why???

I tell you why, we doubted! Hold on and do not give up as yet. It is hard I know and it is not easy to live by faith and not by sight. Though we believed and say "by His stripes we are healed" yet as we waited, doubts crept in. Let us use a different approach... First, you know God did not spared His only Son for you. Right? And Christ died on the cross for you. Right? And He took all your sins and suffering and gave you His righteousness. Right? And so you are complete in Christ. Right? God has given you His Son, His Christ, His Grace, His All. Why? Because He is love and He loves you. What else He won't give?

You know why we doubted? Because we have set our eyes not on His love but on the problems. Fear no more! Focus on His love for you, His perfect love for you, all your problems soon be gone, all your prayers soon answered. Perfect love casts out fear (1Jn 4:18) Our Daddy is the best, though He loves us so much yet He never force us to do anything we don't want. He stood patiently waiting and watching over the horizon everyday for us to come home, to come near to Him, to come and feel His love. He wants us to know that our every need and want in life have been provided, He wants us to rest totally in Him, trust completely in Him... Because He loves us and He never never leave us nor forsake us. See His love, see His Grace, see Jesus! The Grace that bought us home, When we see Grace, we see faith, we see everything. Hear Him!

Are you in Christ?

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Eph 1:20-23)

Are you in Christ? If so, I wish you truly know who you are... As He is so are you in this world! Hear Him!

Do you know Him?

God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (Eph 1:17-19)

If you lack wisdom, you should ask of God, who gives generously to you without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (Jas 1:5) Ask, and it shall be given to you. (Mat 7:7) With the Spirit of wisdom in you and revelation in the knowledge of Him, your inner eyes shall be opened to understand the things of God... the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance for His glory and His exceeding greatness of His mighty power toward us. Wisdom is a gift of the Spirit but knowing Him you must. Hear Him!

Are you in His will?

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. (Eph 1:11-14)

Simplified: In Christ we have an inheritance which was predestined by God's will that we trusted in Christ first to His glory for our salvation and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise who guaranteed our inheritance until the time of redemption. For His glory we praised.

Are you in His will? If you believe in Christ, you are. Hear Him!

Are you redeemed?

Apostle Paul: In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. (Eph 1:7-10)

Simplified: Christ has redeemed us back with His blood and took our sins by His grace and gave us His wisdom to understanding the mystery of His will which He planned on revealing at the right time to bring all things in one together in Christ both in heaven also on earth.

Are you redeemed? Are you in Christ? Hear Him!

Are you predestined?

Apostle Paul: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. (Eph 1:3-6)

That's a bit wordy but let me simplify... Paul praised the Lord for the blessing given to us in Christ whom He has chosen long time ago and made holy to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ according to His good will and by His grace we were accepted in Christ.

Are you predestined? If you understood this and accepted Him, you are blessed and you are predestined. Hear Him!

Sow to the Spirit

"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." (Mat 9:37-38)

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Gal 6:7-9) We ought to be thankful for we are the chosen ones, highly favored, greatly blessed and deeply loved by our Daddy in heaven that we are called into His will. Let's continue to sow to the Spirit and so let our overflows fulfill His calling for His glory. Hear Him!

Fallen from Grace

For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come (Heb 10:1) the reality is in Christ. (Col 2:17) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Gal 5:1) You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. (Gal 5:4)

Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses." (Act 13:38-39) My brothers, you were chosen to be free. But don't use your freedom as an excuse to live in sin. Instead, serve one another in love. The whole law can be found in a single command. "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." (Gal 5:13-14) Love is the fulfillment of the law (Rom 13:10) and Christ has proved it by the cross. Hear Him!

Bonded or Freed

Sarah said to Abraham, "Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, Isaac." (Gen 21:10)

For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise. (Gal 4:22-23) These things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from bondwoman gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar, Ishmael, Mount Sinai, Old Covenant and the law. But the one from freewoman is free, which is Sarah, Isaac, Mount Zion, New Covenant and Christ whom is Grace.

Now brothers, since we belonged to Christ therefore we are of Grace and not of the law, we are of the New Covenant and not the old, we are from Isaac and not Ishmael, we live by the Spirit and not by flesh and thus we are heirs of the promise. And those were born of the flesh persecuted those of the Spirit even so it is now. Do you persecute me? Are you my brother? Are you my brother of the same mother? If you understood this, blessed are you for you are my brother and of the same mother. Hear Him!

The law was to bring us to Christ

Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. (Gal 3:21)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Rom 3:23) and knowing that a man is not justified by the law but by faith in Jesus Christ (Gal 2:16) and for that the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us through Christ. (Rom 8:3-4) But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.(Gal 3:23-25)

Therefore now we don't live by the law but by the faith of Christ. It is not what we do or don't do that save us from eternal damnation but what Christ has done on the cross! Only in Him we become the righteousness of God in Christ. Only in Christ we have salvation! Hear Him!

Are you so foolish?

Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? (Gal 3:2-3)

For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in us to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (Rom 7:5-6) I do not set aside the Grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain." (Gal 2:21) Are you so foolish? Having being saved by Grace and made perfect through faith in Christ, now go back to make yourself imperfect with the knowledge of sin and cursed by the law? Hear Him!

Live for Christ, died to law

Even the storks know when to fly south. So do doves, swifts and thrushes. But my people do not know what I require them to do. "How can you people say, 'We are wise. We have the law of the LORD'? Actually, the teachers of the law have told lies about it. Their pens have not written what is true. (Jer 8:7-8)

The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile. (1Co 3:20) So then, no more boasting of man's abilities in keeping the law knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. (Gal 2:16) For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Gal 2:19-20) Hear Him!

The double cursed

Apostle Paul: But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. (Gal 1:8-9)

Beware the double cursed lest it falls unto you, which Apostle Paul pronounced upon anyone who preaches against the gospel which he preached (the gospel of Grace) which is not according to man but through the revelation of Jesus Christ. (Gal 1:11-12) So what is that gospel of Grace which Apostle Paul preached? Grace is a person and His name is Jesus Christ and only through Him we have salvation. So Christ and Christ alone is the gospel of Grace. Nothing else be added to it. Neither Christ plus the law nor Christ plus your do and don't. Anything added to it corrupts the gospel of Grace and falls under the double cursed. Hear Him!

Died in weakness, raised in power

For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you. (2Co 13:4)

So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. The first man Adam became a living being, the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. (1Co 15:42-44) For He died in our weakness, we died the same too. He raised in God's power, we raised in the same power too. (Rom 6:7-8) Therefore we have the same power in us that raised Jesus from the death. We are no more a natural human being but an empowered spiritual being for we are made completed in Christ. Therefore we are powerful and we can do all things, as He is so are we in this world! Know your true selves lest anyone deceived you. Hear Him!

He will make a way

As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD. (Exo 14:10) ... Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. (Exo 14:21)

Apostle Paul: He said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." ... in my weaknesses, Christ's power rest on me. I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2Co 12:9-10) He will not let you be tempted any more than you can take. But when you are tempted, God will give you a way out so that you can stand up under it. (1Co 10:13) He will make a way when there is no way. Hear Him!

The battle is won

There was continual warfare between Rehoboam and Jeroboam. And Rehoboam rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David. His mother's name was Naamah; she was an Ammonite. And Abijah his son succeeded him as king. (1Ki 14:30-31)

The name Rehoboam means the one who sets the people free. Jeroboam means the one who opposes the people. Abijah means the Lord is my father. So... Rehoboam a picture of Jesus Christ. Through Him that one perfect sacrifice on the cross the warfare is won, through Him we are made the righteousness of Christ, through Him we are made alive in Spirit and dead in flesh, through Him we are made prefect and completed. Therefore we walk by faith and not by sight, we lead by the Spirit and not by the flesh, we are of Christ and not of the law. The warfare is over to us who live according to the Spirit but not those who live according to the flesh. Rebuke every temptation that comes your way. Stand firm in your righteousness in Christ. There is nothing to fight because you have already won. Don't be fool by the devil cos he can do nothing. Hear Him!

Be generous on every occasion

"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (Mat 6:1-4)

Apostle Paul: "But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving." (2Co 8:7) You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. (2Co 9:11) Hear Him!

All grace abound to you

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." (Luk 6:38)

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." (2Co 9:8-9, Psa 112:9) Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion will result in thanksgiving to God. (2Co 9:10-11) Behold not unto ourselves but unto Jesus for He is our provision. Hear Him and know where and when and how to sow... and He also supply us the seed to sow for every good work.

Tithe is offering our love to God

Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand." And he gave him a tithe of all. (Gen 14:18-20)

He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. (2Co 9:6-7) Melchizedek - a picture of Jesus Christ of the Old Testament, after He offered the bread and wine to God, He blessed Abram and Abram gave tithe. Tithe is an offering of our love to God, our thanks giving, our heart felt praises to God. We tithed because He first love us. We tithed not because we want more, even though we will. Will you still tithe if you won't get anymore? God knows money means a lot to us, especially in time of need. But that's the time we show our love for God over money. That's why we tithe because we love God. Give cheerfully and that you can never out give God. Hear Him!
