You shall lend to many, but not borrow

Deu 15:6 For the LORD your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you. ... But do you know that something you must do to receive this blessing?

      ‎"2 Corinthians 1:19-21
      New King James Version (NKJV)
19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. 20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,"

The way I am understanding scripture, all of the promises of God are YES and AMEN in Christ Jesus our Lord. Abide in Christ Jesus and the promises are yours :) Oh how wonderful HE is ♥

    • Pang William But... Deu 15:5 only if you carefully obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe with care all these commandments which I command you today. ... In context, we are supposed to obey the voice of the LORD and His commandments first... What voice and what commandments?

    • Debbie Fowler Last night I came across a Jewish web site that brought to light some things for me. I was searching for information about the Jewish calendar, but found the page on the name of God intriguing.

Learn about several of the more important names of G-d in Jewish tradition, and learn the rules regarding writing and pronouncing these names. Learn why we write 'G-d' that way.
