Do you see lack or abundance?

Do you see lack or abundance? Do you see health or sickness? Do you see fear or peace?... Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." ... Live not according to the flesh but to the Spirit.

How often you hear saying like Grace is good but we must want it? How about Grace is given but you must at least stretch out your hand to receive it? But let me ask ... Which of us doesn't not want the abundance in Life? Who on earth doesn't want to be healthy and peace of mind? But man just have to make it like it is our effort... at least by stretching out our hand to receive it or even just to want it.

Grace can't be compromised and neither is Faith. Not even that little effort of you wanting it... If you want it, it is His desire placed in your heart to want it. If you stretch out your hand, it is Him who stretched your hand out to receive. If you can believe, it is His Faith given to you so you believe.

Some said... Beware of preaching too much Grace, it makes people passive and lazy. Apostle Paul said... a little leaven leavens the whole lump? (1Co 5:6). It is that little effort we added holding back our blessing... Gal 5:4 ...you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. It is all Grace (Spirit) and none flesh!

Mat 12:13 Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other.

If we think that stretching is our effort, think again... Mat 12:10 And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand... Now tell me how you can stretch a withered hand? It was His Faith that stretched that hand. When the miracle comes... you don't even have to try to receive it... it is absolutely nothing of us!

It is not the work we do and also not the manner we do it... but our mindset in doing it. We don't do it to finish it but we do it because it is finished. We don't try to rest by enter into Rest but we rest because we are the rest. We don't try to be like Christ but we are christ.

Man can't really tell the difference in the work we do whether it is of Grace or of the flesh but sometime by our words, we reveal our minds but still can't be sure. Only God knows the heart. Some people are careful with their words that we can't tell of their minds. Even ourselves... we might think we have peace but not so in our heart. We can't try to get it because we already got it!

That's why I asked in my status... Do you see lack or abundance? Do you see health or sickness? Do you see fear or peace? If we see lack, sickness, fear... we still live according to the flesh, we are still trying to enter Rest, we are still trying to finish it. But if we truly see abundance, health, peace... we live according to the Spirit, we have entered Rest, we have finished it. We are as He is so are we in this world. Hear Him!

This is one of your best posts, Pang, I will read it and reread it. I am resting in it. :-)
It is all about what we see, yes.
Andrew Wommack wrote a book called: We've Already Got It, and yes, we do.
There is an old saying: Seeing is believing.
Joseph Prince talks about having it drop from our head to our hearts.
What do you think that verse means "Strive to enter into that rest"?

I asked a brother of Grace... Why isn't your bookstore business prospering after so many years? Why isn't there an obvious change after exposed to the Grace teaching for more than 7 years? Why and what have we missed?

He knew where I headed but he answered... I couldn't because my partner (his boss) doesn't see what I see even though he is a believer. The answer is in this verse... Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

You can't promote Grace and at the same time selling law. You can't preach Grace and do law. Grace is uncompromisable with law... you'll lose both! If you want the blessing of God (Grace)... it is by Faith. If you want the result of laboring (Debt)... it is by works.

2Co 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

This may shock some of you... Who are the unbelievers? If you partner with one of law... not just the unsaved but saved. You have fallen from Grace for you have been alienated from Christ through your partner by compromising Grace with law.

    • Curtis Farmer I agree wholeheartedly. An unbeliever (in Grace) is simply someone who doesn't believe in it. Believe in it means to trust in it, rely on it and adhere to it. Your life is based on and around your TRUE beliefs. You will know them by their works.

Anything - especially our perceptions - only have the meaning that WE attach to them. By observation I conclude that those meanings are usually not the meanings that God or Jesus attaches to them.

For instance, just because "our cupboard is getting a little low" doesn't necessarily mean that we need to prepare to "tighten our belts". Our thoughts about anything should be based on, "What would Jesus do"? He would mutiply the loaves and fishes etc. Can we do that? Let's see.

The Spirit of God in the historical body of Jesus went to Heaven and is now come back into our bodies in the same way it was in His. In effect we are Clones of Jesus. Exact copies. With all of His attributes. We just don't need to go tot he cross and arise to heaven to intercede for others.

That is the only difference in function. The only other difference is our origin. He was the firstborn (the prototype) and we are the later born children of God. He always was the son of God, but we recently became the sons of God.

A clone is an exact copy. The same in essence and in function. The bible describes that by saying such things as, "I am crucified with Christ. Yet I am still alive because it is now Christ who lives in me". "I sit in heavenly places in Christ and He lives in me here on the earth."

The fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in me and because of that power that is at work within me God is able to fulfill His purpose through me and do exceedingly, far over and above ALL that I could ever dare ask, think, dream or imagine.

Are these just mere meaningless words to us? Apparently so. Because that is how we act. And our actions are a consequence of our real beliefs. The fact is that, "We are gods!" By that I mean children of God. We have His divine nature and power. We should believe that and act like it - so we can fulfill the purpose for which God made this possible in the first place.

Why do you think God did this? Just so we could sit on it and continue to live like mere men? Just think about it. Is that why God does things? Then how can He possibly be happy with what we are doing with this?

In light of this - the question must again be considered - are we truly "believers"? If not - then how does God actually view us? Is He happy with us? We need to ask ourselves, "How much do we actually want to please God by having REAL faith and how much effort are we willing to put forth to have such faith"? (Striving to enter into God's rest by faith)

Perhaps those are the questions that GOD is asking. Especially if He is looking for faithfulness or loyalty and devotion to Him rather than to ourselves. Do you believe that He is looking for those things in you? Then what are you doing about it?

These are challenging questions. I know that we are a product of our environment whether worldly or religious or both. But we do not have to stay that way. In fact God expects us to change into HIS product. We are supposed to be a "new creation", "God's own handiwork" right? But what does our lives show regarding that?

    • Ronel Bosman What matters is that we believe that Jesus died on the cross for all our sins, that we, whom accepted Him as our Saviour, may enter eternal life without any sin and enjoy all the blessings according to God's riches.

I totally agree. I say the same for myself. But we must sincerely be allowing Him total control of our lives (to the degree that we know and can) so He CAN lead us into new and deeper realms of the Spirit. Most of that comes not by "striving" - but by "giving up" what we think we know and prefer. In essence a dying to ourselves.

We can't "use" God (by faith) to "get what WE want". He won't "play ball" that way. We must allow HIM to use US to get what HE wants. So much of what I have previously seen in Christians (and even in myself) is the opposite. No wonder we are not living the kind of life that "turns the world upside down". But we CAN and SHOULD. In fact THAT is what God expects of us.

Ecc 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven....

Amen to you Curtis and everyone too. We are the lights that shine unto the darkness of the world in this end time. I truly believe we are the generation that live it. Forty years of wondering in the wilderness is over... we are crossing the Jordan now... we are about to enter the promised land! Ain't you glad you are not the generation that wondering it but the generation that entering it?

Ecc 1:9 That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

Amen Pang, Amen....It is all of HIM, it is all from HIM, it is all for HIM....We are partakers of all HE is and we are partakers in what HE is doing....But it is all about our CHRIST....When we do our "work", and our only "work" is to BELIEVE.....we decrease and HE increases...Interesting those are the words of the last prophet born under the law~John the Baptizer...(Jesus was born under the law, but HE was not a prophet)....who announced the Saviour....The law announced the saviour and his end was beheading.....just a thought.
But all I have to say this morning is....GRACE....GRACE....GRACE...Thank YOU JESUS....GRACE.....
