To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of His righteousness. (Rom 8:6-10) Therefore come and draw near to God by worship Him in Spirit (in tongue) and in Truth (in Christ) and live a life of abundance. Hear Him!

The preaching of do & don't strengthen man's flesh while the fruits of the legalistic preaching (work) edify the action in man's legalistic righteousness.
We need the preaching of grace to strengthen our spirit and the fruit of the preaching of God's unmerited and undeserved favor (rest) edify our spirit.
Wisdom and power is in our spirit not in our flesh because God is Spirit!
