Is this faith?

Is this faith? ... Faith in God has logic in it but where the logic stops (when no further data or process is available) faith can make a leap in the direction that the logic has led. This is how we come to believe in Jesus and the gospel. This is after some measure of hearing, learning, thinking, processing and eventually at some point, a decision is made through a 'leap of faith'.

    • Jean Spaulding Yet where was Peters 'logic' in walking on water? He did so simply becasue the Master bid him Come...and he did. This was a risk yet knowing and believing that Jesus was Who He said He was Peter simply believed.

    • Pang William What logic was it... for God opening up the red sea? What logic was it... that Moses strike the waters in the river with his rod and the water turned to blood? To me Faith has no logic. If it is logically, it is not faith. If you can explain faith, it is no more faith... it has becomes logic.

Do you know every time we try to logic faith out, faith is made void?

I wonder if you have heard this preached before... saying God won't ask you to give anything which you don't have. Exo 4:2 So the LORD said to Moses, "What is that in your hand?" He said, "A rod." ... The rod is the gift which the Lord has provided you and so you must serve the Lord with it.

So I thought the gift in my hand was my creative art ability in web design services which I have been working on for many years. So I worked hard and hoping I would be blessed with more income to go for a good holiday trip but as time passed I realized that I wasn't blessed in that gift but in areas I do nothing of.

And so I seek the Lord... and He said: The rod is not the gift of your work but a gift of God... Jesus Christ!

Faith! What is Faith? I love Faith, I find it so amazing and interesting... we can't have more and we can't have less either, we either have it or we don't, we either believe or we don't...

Mat 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, "How did the fig tree wither away so soon?" Mat 21:21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, [if you have faith and do not doubt], you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done.

Note that Jesus said... "If you have faith and do not doubt". What is doubt and how we doubt? Faith comes by hearing (always by hearing) but doubt comes by reasoning... How is God gonna move the mountain? How is God gonna clear all my debts? How is God gonna heal my decease? That's reasoning faith, that's to logic faith out... That's is doubt, that's unbelief!

Mar 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." Mar 2:6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and [reasoning in their hearts], Mar 2:7 "Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

Luk 5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began [to reason], saying, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" Luk 5:22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, "Why are you [reasoning] in your hearts?

Mat 16:8 But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, "O you of little faith, why do you [reason] among yourselves because you have brought no bread?

Don't reason away our faith... Be like little children... simply believe!

Mat 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

How often after we say to the mountain, and the mountain still there? Then we asked why, how, when... That's when we try to reason out Faith. That's unbelief!

Mar 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to [him who believes]."

Even though we are the one who said to the mountain, but it is not us who moved the mountain. We have only one small part... is to believe in [Him] who believes. You may ask why is the mountain still there? It is when the mountain still there, you believe. That's Faith! And when the mountain is gone, then everyone else would believe, then the world will see the glory of our Lord manifested.

One more thing... Don't try to believe when you need to believe... I know it sounds paradox but it is true. It is our self effort that hindered our Faith. Let go and Let Him! It happened to me many many times... after let go, I totally forgot of it and the next thing I know... the mountain is gone, the provision came. Then I think back... I can't even remember when was it I believed. Isn't it strange? Faith is already in us, it is when we let go... not conscious of the mountain, it manifested. Shalom.

Daddy, Thank you for giving us Jesus and in Him we know Jean and her Mother has been made whole in health, in prosperity, in every area of their life. And we receive it in Jesus' name, Amen.

Jean... Like I said before there is only one thing that you need to do... is to let go and let God! Stand still and see the victory of our Daddy. Hallelujah!!

      Think about this...

How did you come to accept Christ? Has anyone prove to you that the Bible is true? Or anyone proved that Jesus is the Son of God? How much did you know about the Word of God when you received Him? Has anyone said you must have faith before you can accept Him as your Savior???

No...I don't think so at all! You believed because you just believed. And if anyone asked you why? You'd say I just believed la... why what? Now that we have received Him... what happened to that childlike faith we once had?

    • Jean Spaulding I was drawn and called by The Holy Sirit for The Gospel of John state that none can be saved UNLESS The Spirit draws him or her. I have always had that childlike faith knowing God is God and of course He can and will do whatever He wants. satan comes to steal, kill and destroy this belief and faaith as soon as he can. We must stay in the Word and walk in our faith always. 2 Cor.5:7

Because God foreknew you will receive Him and that's the reason why the Holy Spirit came and drew you to Him.

Of cause God is God and He can do whatever He wants but He given the dominion of the earth to man and because of that... A righteous must have prayed for you before you received Christ. That's why our prayers is very important because our word is power in Christ.

Satan try to steal our peace but if we abide in Christ, he can't touch us, he can't steal our salvation. And whatever troubles the devil brings, God will make it good for us. Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The only thing we need to do is... let not your heart be troubled and your peace will also remain. Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Hold on to your childlike faith and don't ever reason it away. Always believe and you'll always have peace in your heart! Amen.
