If you can renounce Jesus, is your salvation still secured?

Heb 10:38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him." ... Someone said... You cannot lose your salvation but you have a freewill to renounce Him. Is your salvation still secured?

He will never remove His Spirit from me so YES, I am eternally secure in Him!
Verse 39But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.
10:39 But we are not of the quitting kind; we possess a persuasion of soul that believes against all the odds. The Mirror Translation

Adam was given the freewill to choose between the two trees. But once Adam chose the tree that lead to sin and death, that's it... he had no more freewill again to choose the tree of Life and thus was cast out of the garden.

Likewise we born after Adam inherited his sin also given one freewill to choose... but only this one freewill is for us to choose the tree of Life. Once we chose it, we died to Adam's sin and born again in Christ. There after no more freewill for us to choose death. We are sealed with Holy Spirit and cannot return to Adam!

    • Pam Burrell Kilpatrick I am returned to a place BETTER THAN ADAM. I cannot lose what I gained through Christ! What Adam Lost I have been given through Christ but now I am better off because I cannot lose Him! Good one- Pang!

    • Brandon J. Horner salvation is secure unless unbelief or blaspheming the Holy Spirit, there is one eternal sin, if i believe and then renounce Him, salvation is not secure, that is the whole point to either choose good or evil.....

Salvation = deliverence. Jesus secued my ultimate deliverence in His finished work. I already stand as more than a conquer through Jesus. But deliverence does not always 'look' like deliverence. Jesus died. We fail and often fail miserably. I once prayer for two women in my church with terminal cancer. One was 'delivered' and in healed in 24 hours. The other went through months of terrible cancer treatment and died. The one who died spent the months in the cancer treatment center witnessing to hundreds of patients and leading many to Christ. She died with great joy. Who was delivered? (Sorry, Pang, I guess I got off track with your initial post.:)

    • Brandon J. Horner i seek to help Jesus, it is finished in one sense, but not in another, Jesus is at the Father's side continually interceding for lost souls, because enemy seeks these souls also......so let the body of Christ become what it was intended to, giving Jesus some rest

please stop, i love you, is ok if i think Jesus is more than grace........For if the ministry of condemnation had glory.....i am not , the law is fulfilled and can demand nothing, Jesus is interceding with the Father until one soul not be left, let us help Him, is very freeing grace, but if outward appearance doesn't display it........... the Father and Jesus sent another and with all the tools necessary,
to anoint like He did Jesus, for Jesus exampled what a redeemed man is capable of, greater things shall ye do in my name.....that has nothing to do with self, in fact it is giving complete self over, He showed us a way to live like He, with same power, is our understanding that limits us, u can choose grace as greatest, is ok, i choose love either way......

Brandon, Unbelief is not believing in Jesus... but once you believed, you cannot go back to unbelief. Just like after a word is spoken, it cannot be unspoken. Like a son is born, he cannot be unborn.

Once you believed in Jesus, you cannot renounce Him. Same as you were born of Adam, you cannot renounce him too. The only way you can renounce Jesus is go back to undo the cross! Also the only way to renounce Adam is go back to undo his Sin!

Mar 3:29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"

And blasphemes against the Holy Spirit simply means one does not believe in Jesus and accept His Spirit to come into him. He is subject to eternal condemnation. ... Not our words or actions unpleasing Him. I hope it is clear to you. Love always! Brother.

      Grace people are gracious."-JP.
They are easier to get along with.
When I am happy & secure and at peace with myself, AND GOD, I am alot more easy & humble and kinder etc. I need Jesus to reveal grace & love to me every day, and be reminded ...constantly that I am the deciple who Jesus loved. When I have this revelation, nothing upsets me:)
      Dear Brandon,
I will say sorry to you Brandon.
ok, so you do worry me, (I actually thought you are secretly for Law, so that you can keep some from entering in, while you yourself dont enter in. I know of others who do agree with me that you need the revelation of grace.) But nevertheless, I will not be childish anymore, i may have been wrong about you...I'm not sure thats all...Gal.4:20.

    • Sandy Crosby i love you too Brando...all I asked is what DO you mean brandon anyway, by "give Jesus some rest"?
      November 6 at 1:57am ·
    • Pang William Dear Sandy, Sometimes it is better to let it go... for we all still have a part of flesh in us, do things we don't want to do, say things we don't mean to say... but it is not for us to change us but Him!

Dear Brandon, I know your heart for Jesus, it is a very precious thing to Him. But please don't mind I say this... It is all Him and none us. We all want to help the situations we see around us but we can't do it in the flesh because it is out of works and not out of fruit. We need to let the works desire go first and let Him transform us from within to bear the fruit of the Spirit... which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Gal 5:22

Joh 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

When the fruit come, we will be His witnesses for Him even without we conscious of it. We can't force the fruit to come, we need to let it comes by itself in its season. Notice that it says fruit and not fruits? Because the fruit is Christ Himself... Only then we become truly like Him, only then we can do all things!

When He said "It Is Finished", It is finished! We must believe all is finished, not He has finished His part and we need to do our part. Our only part is to believe Him that It Is Finished! That He has everything under His control. Let go brother and let Him! I see you... as I see Christ! Amen.

That is true - it has taken me long time to get to this point and only throught The Grace of God (Jesus)!
I can't describe this inner peace in me, no matter what and the sure knowledge that Jesus finished the work on our behalf on the cross so that we hav e nothing more to do, but to believe! It is such a glorious feeling.
Thank you for your daily inputs - it help a lot at times when it is realy needed. Have a blessed weekend!
