Restore the years that the swarming locust has eaten

Joe 2:25 "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.

      Before we can receive the restoration of the years that the locust has consumed... two things must come first! The former rain and the later rain. What is the former rain and what is the later rain?

      Joe 2:23 Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. 24 The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

      From here... we know who is the former rain and the latter rain.

      What is the former rain? From the Lexicon Concordance is stated מורה mo-reh'... A teacher of Righteousness!

      And what is the latter rain? Pro 16:15 In the light of the king's face is life, And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain. ... If His cloud is His favor, so is the rain coming down.

      Jas 5:7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

      In Rom 5:17 says ...much more those who receive abundance of grace (the latter rain) and of the gift of righteousness (the former rain) will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

      Therefore before we can have our restoration of the years that the locust has consumed... we must receive the gift of righteousness and the abundance of Grace to reign in Life!

      I know the passage very well. I was just helping him realize to be careful of words. If someone new to the faith & relationship would be confused. Our words are important. JESUS puts it like this: it is now what you put in your mouth that defiles you but what comes out that does. READ THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT. MATTHEW 5-7. Thanks all for allowing me to share. May I request Prayer. I am being attacked in the physical realm. I now have 3 specialist I must work with Cardiologist, Neurologist & Oncologist. Any questions let me know.       Thank you Trenna for your clear explanation. Regard to your prayer request, please allow me to say this... It is already answered on the cross... by His stripes, you were healed! Don't question anything, just believe that all your sins are forgiven, that you are made righteous in Christ! Where there is no sin, there is no sickness, no disease, no lack!! Let go and let Him... like you said... "I DO KNOW MY FATHER IS IN CONTROL!!!" ... and I see you're completely healed! Come back to give us your testimony soon. Love you too. Amen!
