What then shall we say to these things? What things?

Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? ... Have you ever wonder what are these things that Apostle Paul referred to?

    • Roy Bowden The creation is groaning for the manifestation of the SONS of God....Groaning I tell you. Where are the sons. They are being put under bondage by a church system that teaches us we are not good enough, can never measure up and have to work harder to please God. There is therefore now....NO....condemnation....SONS....you are free to be what you are. You cant earn it and cant add to it....just LIVE it and see what happens.

Apostle Paul was persuaded. Are you?... Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God wants us to be persuaded, assured, unwaivering, unshakable, completely, confidently knowing His Love for us! We don't need to persuade God but we need to persuade ourselves of the these things above! Amen!

yes, Mandy, but once you are justified, you are glorified, having been predestined from the foundation of the world. So how can you lose your eternal life, if it has started already? Can eternal life stop, or end?
NO! because Eternal Life is not eternal if it dose not last for eternity!

Therefore I conclude that falling away must mean something else. such as falling away from grace, as in the case of Galatians 4:20 Paul said "I stand in doubt of you". why did he say this? Because they were falling from grace to Law, its a sad day, because as verse :19 says Christ needs to be formed in you AGAIN???!!! HUH??? Born again. again???!!!!
      Thats what it says!

    • Sandy Crosby Maybe you can work it out for me. So do you either conclude that you can lose your eternal life, then how is it eternal? You cant answer that can you? So you really dont believe that nothing can separate you from Gods love? Jesus said: No man can pluck you out of my hand. God isnt going to let you jump out of His hand, it is by unmerited favor we are saved, but if you start to doubt that you will fall away from grace as it says in Gal 4: 19-20.:)

Can you have your name blotted out of Gods book? Yes, by unbelief, by not entering into His REST! So do you either conclude that you can lose your eternal life, then how is it eternal? You cant answer that can you? So you really must believe that nothing can separate you from Gods love. Dont doubt it. Jesus said: 'No man can pluck you out of my hand. God is'nt going to let you jump out of His hand, it is by unmerited favor and an unearned righteousness that we are saved, but if you start to doubt that, you will fall away from grace as it says in Gal 4: 19-20.:)

    • Mandy Garford Sandy- u not arguing with me! I haven't got a clue what the answer is! I don't think u loose your born again- ness just because u stop going 2 church or even believing- like u say, He won't let us go! But it does have the 'blotting out' thing in revelation. least I know where I'm going!

here are read it, and stop arguing please:
Jesus said: 'No man can pluck you out of my hand. God is'nt going to let you jump out of His hand, it is by unmerited favor and an unearned righteousness that we are saved, but if you start to doubtthat, you will fall away from grace as it says in Gal 4: 19-20.:)

Heb.3:6 says we must continue in faith, I didnt say it!
Gee God is'nt asking us to work for our salvation, only to believe for it. BUT WE DO HAVE OUR PART TO REST!!!!!-BELIEVE TRUST!
LOOK UP HEB.4:1-3. It is by grace, not works, but we do have to continue in the faith-Col.1:23 Thats the only way you get blotted out, as you pointed out Thankyou Mandy.
Sorry Pang, I'm done here, bye.

Dear Mandy, Talking about free will... Adam was given the free will to choose between the two trees. But once Adam chose the tree that lead to sin and death, that's it... he had no more free will again to choose the tree of Life and thus was cast out of the garden.

Likewise we born after Adam inherited his sin also given one free will to choose... but only this one free will is for us to choose the tree of Life. Once we chose it, we died to Adam's sin and born again in Christ. There after no more free will for us to choose anymore. We are sealed with Holy Spirit and cannot return to Adam!

On your question of "blot out"... Rev 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

My interpretation: He who believed in Christ shall be clothed in the robe of righteousness... I hope my answer it is good enough for you. Shalom!

    • Mandy Garford Thanks pang. It all makes sense, but I'm just not sure how the circumstances that I am thinking about fit into that scenario. -though they r quite extreme. It's just gonna be one of those things I'll discover 4 sure when I'm in heaven. :-)
