Cross over Jordan

After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying: Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. (Jos 1:1-3)

The Old Testament is the New hidden and now Christ is revealed... Moses here indicates the law, Joshua is also Jesus in Hebrew, also means the Savior, the Grace of God, Jordon indicates judgement. The interpretation goes:

Now that the law is dead because Christ has fulfilled and nailed it to the cross. And we who belong to Christ are no longer living under the bondage of the law but under the freedom of the Spirit who is in us. Therefore now we must take our steps of faith to cross over that judgement and possess all our inheritance which God had promised our forefathers. Only when the law is removed then we are unveiled to see the Grace of God. When we see Grace, we see our promise land, our inheritance. But first you must take a step of faith to let go the law and reach out for Grace. Hear Him!
