From death to life

And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen 2:9)... And the LORD God commanded Adam, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." (Gen 2:16-17)

Since Adam we were all dead (in our spirit) in our sins (because of Adam's first sin, we all sinned) and in the uncircumcision of our sinful nature (living in the dominion of the flesh in spite of the spirit), God made us alive (born again, this time in His Spirit) with Christ. He forgave us all our sins (Christ took them on the cross), having canceled the written code (the law of Moses), with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross (Christ has fulfilled the requirement of the law). And having disarmed the powers and authorities (Christ took back dominion from Satan which Adam lost), he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. (Col 2:13-15) For in the day that you eat of the tree of life you shall surely live! It is because of one man's sin, we all died. Therefore also because of one Man's righteousness, we all lived. (Rom 5:19) It is that simple! Hear Him!
