A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed [highly respected] is better than silver or gold. Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all. A prudent [wise] man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple [fool] keep going and suffer for it. Humility and the fear of [love for] the LORD bring wealth and honor and life. (Prov 22:1-4)
Christ Jesus in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! (Php 2:6-8) That's humility! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Php 2:9-11) The love for God teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. (Prov 15:33) Can you give yourself up for God? Make yourself nothing? You can try. But I say only in Christ we found true humility. Not of ourselves but of Him. Behold unto Him, unto His grace, unto His love... for He is love, He is our true humility in us. Hear Him!

Do you wish to honour the body of Christ? Do not ignore him when he is naked. Do not pay him homage in the temple clad in silk, only then to neglect him outside where he is cold and ill-clad. He who said: "This is my body" is the same who said: "You saw me hungry and you gave me no food", and "Whatever you did to the least of my brothers you did also to me"... What good is it if the Eucharistic table is overloaded with golden chalices when your brother is dying of hunger? Start by satisfying his hunger and then what is left you may adorn the altar as well
