One God, One Mediator

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1Ti 2:5-6)

What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed (Grace - the Mediator) should come to whom the promise was made... (Gal 3:19) The law made nothing perfect; on the other hand there is the bringing in of a better hope (in Grace), through which we draw near to God. (Heb 7:19) Knowing this: that the law is not made for the righteous (the church), but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel. (1Ti 1:9-11) Now that you have believed our Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved by Grace through faith. And so you are no longer under the law. That's why it is written "till the Seed should come". Beware what you believe lest you believe in vain. Hear Him!
