Lust no more

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Rom 8:6)

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. (Col 3:1-5)

You may ask "How to do it?" The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

The first thing you must know... From now on, be spiritually minded and not carnally minded because in our spirit, we are born again, we are pure, we are sinless, we have the fullness of Christ in us and we can do all things. In our born again spirit, we can not sin!!! But in our flesh, we are still fallen, still lust after earthly things. So now we are to set our mind not on the things in the flesh but things in the spirit. Therefore let us behold unto Jesus for through Him we were set free completely in our spirit, though we might still fail in our flesh but do not be discouraged but continue to dwell in the spirit, continue to focus on Jesus and with no condemnation. Remind yourself that you are still the righteousness in Christ. Keep on and keep going... do not give in to the devil. One day... the break through will come when your mind is predominantly spiritual than carnal. You will be transformed and you will lust no more. Hear Him!
