In the last days

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. (2Ti 3:1-5)

I want you to remember the words the holy prophets spoke in the past. Remember the command our Lord and Savior gave through your apostles. First of all, here is what you must understand. In the last days people will make fun of the truth. They will laugh at it. They will follow their own evil longings. (2Pe 3:2-3) But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers (1Pe 4:7) and in all things, endure afflictions, do the works of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. (2Ti 4:5) "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." (Rev 22:12-13) We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:14) He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Co 1:8) Hear Him!
