Immanuel - God with us!

What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the God (Eloheem), And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet. (Psa 8:4-6)

In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (Heb 1:1-3) All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us." (Mat 1:22-23) And He is the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. (Joh 14:6) And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1Jn 5:11) Hear Him!
