The power in the gospel

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (Isa 61:1)

Jesus preached the gospel... He went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. (Mat 4:23)

And the disciples... "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:15-18)

And Apostle Paul... I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." (Rom 1:16-17)

Now our turn... And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. (Mark 13:10) May the Lord grant us with all boldness that we may speak Your word, and by laying of hand to heal, and signs and wonders follow through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:29-30) Behold unto Him, labor into His rest... in it we proclaim the gospel of Grace with signs and wonders follow. Hear Him!
